Description
Analytical buyers who compare spec sheets and scrutinize every line item will appreciate how the Escape Active consolidates comfort, safety, and technology into One package. For those in St. Louis managing winter roads or unpredictable weather, the standard AWD and heated features from the Cold Weather Package translate to year-round assurance without requiring additional upgrades. The Escape Active is ideal for families and professionals who want maximum standard content with minimal upcharges, making it a smart choice for shoppers who value transparent pricing and comprehensive equipment.
From a value-for-performance standpoint, the Escape’s 1.5L EcoBoost® engine and 8-speed automatic transmission deliver responsive acceleration and smooth power delivery, especially when paired with standard AWD. This combination allows the SUV to handle daily commutes, weekend getaways, and adverse weather confidently, all while achieving an EPA-estimated 26 city and 32 highway MPG. This efficiency means real-world savings at the pump, and with Ford’s engineering focus on accessible maintenance, routine service costs remain approachable, reinforcing the Escape’s reputation as a cost-conscious choice in its.
Safety value is a clear highlight, as the Escape Active includes a comprehensive suite of standard equipment that competitors often bundle into optional packages. Standard features like automatic high-beam headlights, a rearview camera, electronic stability control, ABS brakes, and multiple airbags-including dual front, side, knee, and overhead airbags-are built in at no extra cost. The inclusion of SYNC® 4 911 Assist ensures emergency communication capability is always available, while traction control and four-wheel disc brakes further contribute to peace of mind in daily driving scenarios.
A key benefit of the Active trim is its robust set of standard features. The Cold Weather Package adds heated amenities, while dual-zone climate control, power driver seat, and a split folding rear seat enhance comfort and versatility. The infotainment system includes SiriusXM radio and steering wheel-mounted audio controls for easy, distraction-free adjustments. Utility features like a power liftgate, remote keyless entry, and automatic headlights simplify daily routines, and the uniquely designed Ebony cloth bucket seats blend style with supportive comfort for longer journeys.
When compared to well-known segment rivals like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, the Escape Active positions itself as a stronger value proposition. While some competitors require stepping up to pricier trims for dual-zone climate or power liftgate functionality, these are standard here.
Shoppers often ask: What comes standard on the Escape Active? This SUV includes AWD, a power liftgate, dual-zone climate control, SYNC® 4 with 911 Assist, and the Cold Weather Package all as standard. Is this vehicle worth its price? Given its comprehensive standard equipment and fuel efficiency, it offers excellent total value. Which trim offers the best value? The Active trim delivers a rare balance of amenities and affordability.
